Each ST Math Puzzle Talk focuses on a single puzzle. Students share their thinking about the puzzle and their solution strategies.

The Puzzle Talk is designed to help you walk with your students through the Problem Solving Process.

Problem Solving

This portion of the lesson usually consists of the Problem of the Day and a Journal question. Use them with the whole group, in small groups, or with individual students.

Instructional Stations

All of the stations are explained in the lesson plans. Stations are the same on days 1 and 2, and then they are the same on days 3 and 4, meaning that each student will visit all four over two days.
